Chapter 10: The Best Day Ever

I'm in a writing contest, and the topic is: Best Day Ever. They didn't exactly specify if it was "The Best Day You've Ever Had" or just a made up day that would be your best day ever. Naturally, I went with the more creative option, and so this is the first draft of my idea of: The Best Day Ever.

I wake up from a wonderful dream, and with a smile on my face I’d get up and walk through the hall, ending up in the kitchen where a stack of hot Nutella covered pancakes are waiting for me. I sit down and fill my face with this amazing breakfast of kings until I am satisfied. I then proceed to my computer where I check my YouTube channel to find that I have 1 more subscriber than the night before. I would then check my e-mail, where I would find an email from my agent Brenda, telling me that I’d gotten a role, however small it may be, on Teen Wolf (my favorite show in the whole wide world). Then, I would probably role on the floor screaming in excitement for the next 5 minutes non-stop until I got too tired to even move a muscle. After that, I would be completely content with my day. I would make some popcorn and sit down with my family, to watch some Teen Wolf. That would be my perfect day.

As you see, I'm a tad obsessed with Teen Wolf, but that's ok. Thanks for reading. As always, I'll have a link to the stuff I talked about in this chapter. See you next time.

Chapter 9: Anime and ADR

Hi, so I haven't written in a while, but I've been really busy. So, I got an animation roll!!! It's dubbing, so its a lot of work, but still. The series I got, is already made, and in a different language, I'm just putting my voice over the other language, so that the series will be in english. It's hard work, but it's a lot of fun. I work for 3-4 hours a day, 3-4 days a week. Sometimes, I just want to stay in bed all day (it is summer), but I have to go to work. Honestly, if I didn't love film making as much as I do, then this would be awful. I love this work, even if it's hard. It's all great practice, and practice makes perfect.

This was a pretty short blog, but I can't say anything about the series right this second. When I can, I'll make a blog about it, but until next time. Bye

Chapter 8: The Award Season

Happy May, and may the fourth be with you! I'm back from a two day trip to Vancouver to go to a film festival for a short film that I was in, and to go to a voice over class. The short film was great, although I had to swear a couple times, and the classes were great.

We got to the film festival at about 6:20 PM, and we were rushed. When we got there we watched my short film and 16 others. All of the shorts together were over three and and a half hours to watch so we were really tired. It was really great though, and it was worth it.

The next day at 9:30 AM we headed out to the VO (voice over) class. It was a lot of fun, and the girl who was our coach is named Andrea Libman, and played "Pinkiepie" and "Fluttershy" on My Little Pony. It was great, and I'm totally going to go in a couple months, when the next one comes.

The next day, before going to the VO class, the director of the short film that I'm in, told my mom that the night before, there had been a judge panel, and that I had won "Best Supporting Actor"! I was, and still am, super excited. I won tickets to the VFF (Vancouver Film Festival) and it will be awesome!!!

I also have an update on my IMDB account! I'll leave a link below. See you next time, but until then: bye.

Chapter 7: Signs

A few days ago I did an audition for a TV show based on the movie Fargo. In it, I had to play a deaf kid. I had to learn some sign language for it as well. We got a tutor on a website called fiverr (see link below). When I had learned my signs, I went in to Vancouver (I got to skip school). I got to the audition place, and was very very tired, but I managed to get up the needed energy to go in. Once I got in, She told us we had to do a part that wasn't on the script, but I was okay. When I got out I felt great. It was a lot of fun to learn sign. I hope I get to do it again soon.

Chapter 6: IMDB

Hey! In previous submissions, I've said that when I got a blog page, I would tell you. And now, finally... I DO! I have an IMDB page. It's very exciting, and I'll leave a link to it below. Be warned though, it isn't finished. All it has are a few photo's, but its still pretty awesome! That the full submission. I'm sorry it isn't longer, I didn't have a lot to say. But anyways, see you all next time. Bye.

Chapter 5: Modelling for Social Media

Yesterday, I did a photo shoot, to get pictures for IMDB, Facebook, Twitter, and most importantly Resumes. I already had photos, but because my hair grows really fast, I needed more. It was fun, but tiring. My favorite part is when I got to re-do the Robert Carlyle profile shot!

After school yesterday, my mom, my dad, my sister, and I all went to a place in Victoria to get the pictures taken. We arrived, I got dressed, and then we started. The place we went to (Jon Mark Photo) was shared between JMP and Innovate Imageworks, who I did the music video with. Anyways, we shot for about two hours, maybe less. It was fun, but it was also a lot of work! I had to get into a bunch of positions that were uncomfortable, although I did get to do a classic lying-down-with-hands-behind-your-head shot, which was nice. It was fun, and I know that I’ll do it again.

Hopefully, my IMDB page will be up soon, and when it is I’ll tell you, and leave a link. Speaking of that, I’ve already done IMDB and Robert Carlyle in the link section, so I won’t this time. If you want a link to those things, then check out some of the other chapters. See you all next time.

Chapter 4: Thanks, Coaches, and Support

Happy April fools day! Did you do any pranks today (or get pranked)? I did! I gave a kid in my class a Skunk Spray Jelly bean that I saved up from one of my “Bean Boozled Challenges”.

Now, on to more relevant things! Some of you may know the amount of time, work, and money you have to put into acting, and some may not. For those of you who do not know: it’s a lot! But I wouldn’t be where I am right now if I didn’t have support from other people! So I’ve decided to dedicate this chapter to all of the people (Family and friends) who have helped me get to where I am today.

I would like to start with my parents. They have stood by my side this whole time, and have committed to my job as much as I have! Thank you so much. Next, I want to thank Dave and Justice, who were the makers of the first project I ever worked on (Rollin by: Current Swell see link at the bottom of the blog). They were awesome, and made me understand how much work can go into a four minute video. I would never have gotten the part in the music video if it weren’t for David, my acting coach.

David recommended me, out of all of the other kids he was working with, after he helped me audition for a role on “The Ninth Life Of Louis Drax”. But I wouldn’t have met David, if I hadn’t taken acting lessons from Stephanie. She introduced me to the world of acting, and I thank her so much. Before I end the blog, I would like to thank a few more people. First, a person who I just met as an acting coach. His name is Steve Bacic. I just started working with him, but he’s great. Jordan Macken. I just worked on a short film with him, and he’s an excellent! Also, my aunt Jessica, who really introduced me to the film industry.

Also, my teachers who are so understanding. As well as my neighbor Greg, for supplying me with the lights for my auditions. And last but not least Dan Pawlick, who started working with me at home on my auditions.

Well, that’s the blog for today. As always, I will put links at the bottom, so you can learn more. Feel free to comment and ask me questions, that I will answer in my next blog. Until next time, Bye.
